The University of Cape Town is currently carrying out a search for the position of Deputy Vice Chancellor. Both applications and nominations for up to three appointments as Deputy Vice-Chancellors in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor are being solicited. Applicants must be outstanding academics with an established research track record and experience in a senior leadership role in an academic institution or research organisation. They will require qualifications, experience and adaptability appropriate to senior leadership positions in a leading African university in a time of exciting transformation.
To apply, please submit (1) a letter of motivation which addresses the above criteria, including a statement on your potential contribution as part of the Office of the VC (2) a detailed curriculum vitae, (3) a one-page summary of your CV (4) the names and contact details (email and telephone) of three referees.
