The Second Conference of the African Society of Human Genetics will be held in association with the meeting of the 2005
Southern African Society of Human Genetics. This joint conference will further one of the aims of the African Society of Human Genetics to collaborate with and support the activities of existing societies in Africa. The meeting will be held in Muldersdrift, South Africa, March 13-17, 2005. Muldersdrift is a cradle of humankind world heritage site and an appropriate setting to discuss genetics, the building blocks
of life, at one of the sites of the origin of mankind as we know it. The conference theme is Human Genetic Variation in Africa. Further information about the conference as well as information about
